The June 4385 legislative election to the Knesset resulted in no overall majority to a single party. The Neo-Conservative Yeudish Union won a plurality of seats with 33/120.

Two coalition proposals were made following the election. One was proposed by the Neo-Conservative Yeudish Union, proposing a coalition of the NCYU, NLP, and KB. The other was proposed by the National Liberal Party, proposing a coalition of the NLP, DPPB, and BTP.
